Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has announced the details of the 2025 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix slated to be held on April 11-13, marking the fourth round of the season.

In statement on Saturday, LIC stated that spectators will have the opportunity to witness the riders competing in thrilling races on the track under the floodlights, during multiple practice sessions across all categories over the course of three days, with a variety of entertainment options suitable for all ages available in the vibrant fan zone.

Having hosted its inaugural race in 2004 while being the first venue to host night racing in MotoGP since 2008, LIC remains the only circuit offering evening competition on the 5.38km track with 16 corners under LICs renowned lights.

LIC highlighted that the first day of competition, Friday, April 11, will be dedicated to free practice sessions. The day will commence with the first free practice session for the Moto3 class from 2:00 p.m.to 2:35 p.m., lasting 35 minutes, followed by the first free practice session for the Moto2 class from 2:50 p.m.to 3:30 p.m., lasting 40 minutes.
The day will conclude with the first free practice session for the MotoGP class from 3:45 p.m.to 4:30 p.m., lasting 45 minutes.

In addition, the second free practice session for the Moto3 class will take place from 6:15 p.m.to 6:50 p.m., lasting 35 minutes, followed by the second free practice session for the Moto2 class from 7:05 p.m.to 7:45 p.m., lasting 40 minutes. The day will conclude with the second free practice session for the MotoGP class from 8:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m., lasting 60 minutes.

The competition will be in full swing as riders vie for pole positions in the qualifying round, followed by the sprint race, which covers half the distance of the main event scheduled for Sunday, April 13. With points awarded to the top nine finishers in the sprint, Saturday, April 12, is crucial for the championship standings.

On the second day, April 12, the action begins with the third free practice session for the Moto3 class from 12:30 p.m.to 1:00 p.m., lasting 30 minutes, followed by the third free practice session for the Moto2 class from 1:15 p.m.to 1:45 p.m., also lasting 30 minutes, and the third free practice session for the MotoGP class from 2:00 p.m.to 2:30 p.m., lasting 30 minutes.

The first MotoGP qualifying session will take place from 2:40 p.m.to 2:55 p.m., followed by the second MotoGP qualifying session from 3:05 p.m.to 3:20 p.m. The first Moto3 qualifying session is scheduled from 4:50 p.m.to 5:05 p.m., with the second Moto3 qualifying session from 5:15 p.m.to 5:30 p.m.
Furthermore, the first Moto2 qualifying session will run from 5:45 p.m.to 6:00 p.m., followed by the second Moto2 qualifying session from 6:10 p.m.to 6:25 p.m. The day will conclude with the MotoGP sprint race at 7:00 p.m., consisting of 11 laps.

The atmosphere of excitement reaches its peak on Sunday, April 13, the final day of competition, with the main races across all categories. The day will commence with warm-up sessions for all three classes, followed by the Moto3 main race, consisting of 16 laps, scheduled for 5:00 p.m., followed by the Moto2 main race, comprising 18 laps, at 6:15 p.m.
The grand finale will feature the MotoGP Grand Prix, consisting of 21 laps, set to begin at 8:00 p.m., where the suspense will build as the race unfolds toward its thrilling conclusion.

LIC unveiled ticket options for the event, with prices starting at QR 200, granting access to all three days of racing. The package includes seating in the main grandstand and general admission areas, including the elevated viewing section at Turn 1 in Lusail's bundles.
Additionally, up to six children under 12 can attend for free with a paying adult, while university students can enjoy a 50% discount upon presenting a valid student ID
