Qatar Charity (QC) has updated its “Zakaty” app to offer users a simpler and more efficient way to calculate and pay their Zakat, a statement said.
The “Zakaty” app, recognised as a leading platform for Zakat calculation, has been significantly updated to enhance the donor experience.
These improvements streamline the user journey, offering faster and smoother calculations for various types of Zakat, simplified payment processes, and quick access to relevant fatwas.
Key updates to the “Zakaty” app include improvements to the main page, quick calculator pages, and specialised calculators for gold, livestock, and stock Zakat, along with enhancements to the Zakat payment and fatwa sections.
Updates to the “Zakaty” app prioritise a modern, user-friendly design, especially on the main page and zakat calculator, which is the app's key feature.
The redesign offers a comfortable interface and provides flexible and secure payment options.
The “Zakaty” app (qch.qa/ezakaty) simplifies zakat calculation in accordance with Islamic law.
It features an intuitive calculator for all types of Zakat, a dedicated Zakat al-Fitr service, and a comprehensive fatwa section.
With increased interest in Zakat and charitable giving during Ramadan, Qatar Charity highlights its “Zakaty” app and other electronic services.
Donors can also request a “Home Collector” via Qatar Charity’s app (qch.qa/appen) or call 44290000 for assistance with Zakat and other donations.
Qatar Charity has 32 branches across Qatar: 22 for men and 10 for women.
Additionally, it has 94 collection points in shopping malls and other locations, allowing donors to calculate and pay their Zakat.
As Ramadan is a month of generosity, compassion, and supporting those in need, Qatar Charity urges donors to support its Ramadan campaign “Giving Lives On” being carried out in 40 countries, with a focus on crisis-hit areas, especially Gaza.
