The death toll from the intense airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip early Tuesday has risen to over 230 martyrs, with dozens of wounded, most of them children and women. Meanwhile, others remain under the rubble of targeted homes.A correspondent from Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip are receiving dozens of martyrs' remains around the clock, as Israeli airstrikes continue in various parts of Gaza.Medical sources noted that around 60 martyrs were killed in the Israeli bombing of areas in southern Gaza. Furthermore, five martyrs, including two children, and dozens of injured individuals, were transported to the Kuwait Field Hospital after the Israeli bombing of several displacement tents in the Mawasii Khan Younis area.These sources also reported that 15 martyrs, including five children, and more than 20 injured individuals were brought to a hospital in Gaza City. Additionally, 14 martyrs were received at Al-Awda Hospital after airstrikes hit two tents in southern Gaza, along with more than 70 wounded, some in critical condition, who were injured from Israeli bombings on homes in the Nuseirat and Al-Bureij refugee camps in central Gaza Strip.At Al-Awda Hospital in Tel al-Zaatar in the Jabalia refugee camp, eight martyrs, including six children, and dozens of injured individuals arrived due to airstrikes on homes in northern Gaza. Several martyrs were also reported as a result of Israeli airstrikes on homes in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, in addition to the bombing of displacement tents in the Mawasi area.Several people were martyred, and others were injured after Israeli airstrikes targeted a school sheltering displaced people in Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, as well as three houses in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.For its part, civil defense sources in Gaza stated that there have been repeated calls to rescue people trapped under the rubble of homes destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. The rescue teams, however, are unable to respond to these calls due to the lack of necessary equipment. Furthermore, rescue teams face significant challenges in reaching the targeted areas due to the ongoing heavy bombardment from Israeli aircraft and artillery.Israeli occupation forces have been conducting an aggressive assault on the Gaza Strip since Oct.7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 48,577 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women.
