Al Rayyan SC won the Qatar Volleyball League title for the 2024-25 season after a commanding 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-21) victory over Al Arabi in the penultimate round. The win ensured their championship triumph as Al Wakrah suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 3-1 to Police, crushing their hopes of a historic title. Meanwhile Al Arabi defeat has all but ended their chances of finishing in the top four, meaning they are unlikely to qualify for the prestigious Qatar Cup. Their only hope for silverware now lies in the Amir Cup. With this victory, Al Rayyan adds another trophy to their collection, having already won the West Asian Club Championship. They remain in contention to win all four major titles this season, further cementing their dominance in Qatari volleyball over the past 15 years.
