TNG Al Nuaija Primary Campus recently hosted a session for Year 4A and Year 6A students, as a key part of their Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) research on the impact of education in eradicating poverty and fostering peace.

The resource person, Dr Sabu K C, president of the Qatar Indian Authors Forum and advertising controller at Gulf Times, spoke on ‘Building a better future: Why education is the key to global change.’

He underscored the significance of unity and long-lasting friendships, reinforcing the idea that strong relationships built in school can serve as a foundation for future success and teamwork. He encouraged the students to cherish and nurture the bonds they form during their academic journey. The session also shed light on the importance of reading and the critical role of newspapers in delivering credible information. Dr Sabu highlighted the value of well-researched, fact-based journalism, emphasising that newspapers remain a trustworthy source of knowledge and informed decision-making.

Dr Sabu showcased some of his books, offering students a glimpse into the world of an author. He presented a copy of Gulf Times to a student, symbolising the importance of staying informed and engaged with current affairs. The session was attended by Farzana Mansoor Ali, headmistress of TNG Al Nuaija Primary Campus, along with class teachers Devi Priya (6A) and Clancy Fernandes (4A).
