Weather inshore Saturday night until 6am Sunday will be hazy and cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, which may become thundery along with strong wind and blowing dust at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places.
Offshore, it will be cloudy with scattered rain at times may be thundery, the Department of Meteorology added, warning of strong wind, high sea and thundery rain at places.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 8 to 18knot gusting to 30knot at places with thundery rain, shifting to northwesterly later.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 8 to 18knot gusting to 22knot at first and becoming northwesterly at 15 to 25knot gusting to 32knot with thundery rain.
The visibility will be 4 to 8km or 2km or less at places at times.
The sea state inshore will be 1 to 4 feet surging to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 5/7 feet at first, surging to 4 to 8/11 feet with thundery rain.
