Amir reiterates rejection of all kinds of violence, terrorism that destabilise security of Somalia

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani affirmed that Qatar stands in solidarity with Somalia and rejects all kinds of violence and terrorism that destabilize the security and stability of the brotherly Somali people.

This came in a phone call His Highness the Amir held Saturday with President of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, during which His Highness was reassured on the president's safety, following the explosion that targeted his motorcade and led to fatalities and injuries.

His Highness the Amir expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and to the brotherly people of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

For his part, the president of Somalia expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for his sincere expression of heartfelt and fraternal sentiments toward the government and people of Somalia.
