President of Suriname Chandrikapersad Santokhi received the credentials of Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Shaibani as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar (non-resident) to the Republic of Suriname.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Suriname president, along with His Highness's wishes for good health and happiness to the president, and for the government and people of Suriname continued progress and prosperity. For his part, the president conveyed his greetings to His Highness the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness and the State of Qatar continued progress and development.
