Some 120,000 worshippers performed Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem today.The Jerusalem Governorate said in a brief statement that 120,000 worshippers performed Eid prayers in the courtyards and inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict Israeli occupation measures.The Israeli occupation authorities impose multiple restrictions on thousands of Palestinians from the occupied West Bank governorates, preventing them from reaching Jerusalem to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.Numerous Palestinian and international human rights organizations have considered these measures a violation of human rights and freedom of worship, calling for highlighting the current situation and the need for solutions that guarantee Palestinians' right to access their places of worship.
