The Israeli encroachments on Lebanon have continued despite the ceasefire deal on Nov. 27, 2024.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli drones were seen hovering at a low altitude over Beirut until reaching the southern suburb, with field sources stating that the Israeli mortar attacks targeted the outskirts of the town of Shebaa.

On Nov. 27, 2024, a ceasefire deal was enacted, mandating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon's border villages within sixty days. Lebanon's government later agreed to extending the deadline to February 18, with the Israeli troops withdrawing from the vast majority of areas, except five border points.
