From nostalgic flavours at the Throwback Food Festival to traditional treats at Souq Waqif, Qatar's Ramadan celebrations are set to conclude tomorrow (March 29), providing residents and visitors a final opportunity to enjoy the festive spirit, according to Visit Qatar.The *Ramadan at Torba Farmers Market in Education City Gate 7 will host its final day tomorrow, inviting visitors to explore traditional crafts, indulge in Arabic cuisine, and enjoy games and sweet treats in a lively setting.Shopping enthusiasts should head to the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) before the *Ramadan and Eid Shopping Exhibition closes its doors tomorrow.It features a wide array of products, from dates and honey to homeware and clothing, ideal for Eid preparations.Similarly, the *Eid Sweets Exhibition at Souq Waqif's Eastern Square, showcasing the finest traditional and international sweets in a family-friendly atmosphere, will conclude tomorrow.For a taste of Qatari heritage, the second edition of Visit Qatar's *Throwback Food Festival at Old Doha Port will be open until tomorrow, the last day of Ramadan.This festival celebrates local heritage through traditional cuisine and cultural experiences, recreating the atmosphere of old Qatari souqs through the Dakkan initiative.Visitors can sample traditional foods and sweets, participate in interactive competitions like Kahoot and a treasure hunt focused on heritage, and even witness chefs battling it out in the "Local Flavour Challenge”.The Throwback Food Festival also features live musical performances of traditional songs, complete with instruments like drums, oud, and marwas.The immersive *Ramadan at Hosh Msheireb, inspired by traditional Qatari family gatherings, will also conclude tomorrow.While some Ramadan-specific events are wrapping up, other festive experiences will continue into April.Shoppers looking for high-quality, locally-sourced agricultural products can still visit the *10th edition of the Mahaseel Festival at Katara – the Cultural Village, open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until April 3.The festival offers fresh produce, dairy products, meat, and local dates, among others.The Pearl Island’s *Ramadan Bazaar at Porto Arabia will continue to welcome visitors until April 5.With more than 35 local and international exhibitors, the bazaar presents traditional attire, handcrafted goods, perfumes, gifts, and authentic Ramadan delicacies.Visit Qatar noted that the National Museum of Qatar’s *Mal Lawal 4 Exhibition will be on view at Msheireb Sahat Al Nakhel Unit X04 until April 10, showcasing the local heritage and collecting practices in Qatar through vintage gaming items from the 1990s.
