The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has urged the public to enjoy the meadows, beaches, parks and other open natural places whether on land or marine sites responsibly and ensure they maintain the cleanliness of these vital places for the local environment.
Considering that during the Eid holidays, large number of people will flock to such places, the MoECC stressed that the visitors should abide by the rules and guidelines for using such public facilities and avoid littering and the other negative practices that could negatively impact the well-being of the wildlife and environment. Plants, trees, animals and birds and other living beings are considered key components for the local environment and protecting them is a shared responsibility, stressed the ministry through a number of posts on its official X account.
