Algeria’s Olympic boxing champion, Imane Khelif, has concluded an intensive training camp at Aspire Academy as part of her preparation for the upcoming 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, UK.

During her training stint at Aspire Academy, Khelif focused on refining her technique, enhancing her endurance, and sharpening her strategic approach, all within a world-class environment. The academy’s state-of-the-art facilities and expert coaching provided the ideal setting for her to elevate her performance, aiming to improve upon the silver medal she won at the 2022 World Championships in Istanbul, Turkiye.

During her training camp, the Algerian boxing champion met with several student-athletes from Aspire Academy, where she shared valuable insights from her journey and the challenges she overcame throughout her career.

Khelif praised the academy’s high standards of care and support, commending the world-class facilities and the motivating environment that empowers young talents to thrive both on and off the field.

She encouraged the students to remain dedicated and give their utmost effort in pursuit of their goals, emphasising that success is always within reach with determination and hard work. Khelif also highlighted the unique opportunity Aspire offers in helping athletes strike a meaningful balance between academics and elite sports training—an opportunity she described as truly exceptional and one that should be fully embraced.

I truly appreciate the great collaboration and warm reception from the Qatar Boxing Federation, which spared no effort in ensuring the success of my camp.
