The Israeli occupation forces have killed 50,357 Palestinians and injured 114,400 since Oct. 7, 2023, according to Palestine's News Agency (WAFA), quoting medical sources on Monday.

According to these medical sources, WAFA added that among the toll, there are over 1,000 martyrs and 2,359 injured since the onset of Israel's aggression on the Gaza Strip throughout March, following the ceasefire agreement.

The sources highlighted that 80 fatalities and 305 injuries were admitted to hospitals during the latest 24-hour reporting period, while several victims are trapped in bombed-out buildings and on the roads, with paramedics and specialised personnel unable to reach them.

On March 18, the Israeli occupation forces resumed their onslaught on the Gaza Strip, following a two-month respite under a ceasefire agreement that took effect on January 19. However, Israel breached the ceasefire terms over the course of two months, continuing its bombardment of multiple sites in the Gaza Strip, resulting in casualties.

It also refused to implement the humanitarian protocol and further intensified its blockade on the Strip, which is enduring an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
