The State of Qatar has condemned, in the strongest terms, the Israeli National Security Minister's raid on Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation police, the expulsion of worshippers from the mosque, and the shelling of a clinic belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jabalia camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that repeated attempts to alter the religious and historical status of Al Aqsa Mosque constitute an attack not only on Palestinians but on millions of Muslims worldwide.

The Ministry warned of the consequences of such violations against the Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian holy sites, emphasizing that these actions risk escalating violence in the region.

The Ministry stressed the urgent need for the international community to uphold its responsibilities by strongly addressing Israel's repeated attacks on civilian facilities, including hospitals, and ensuring full protection of unarmed civilians and workers in UN and humanitarian organizations.

The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's unwavering stance on the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to practice religious rituals without restrictions and to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
