The Shura Council's Health and Public Services Affairs Committee completes a study on "Agricultural Support Mechanisms"
The Health, Public Services and Environment Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Matar Al Kuwari, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the general discussion request submitted by a number of Their Excellencies the members, regarding “the agricultural support mechanisms provided to local farms and the extent of their contribution to enhancing food security.”
During the meeting, the Committee also discussed the esteemed government’s statement regarding the proposals expressed by the Shura Council regarding developing the appointment system in government health institutions, which was referred to it by the Council. At the end of the meeting, the Committee decided to submit its report on the two topics to the Council.
