Oryx GTL employees who were recently honoured for completing five years or more with the company
Oryx GTL recently honoured 114 employees who have completed five years in service.
The company’s Human Resource manager Majid al-Hajri in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of the company last year, and specifically referred to the safety, security and environment aspects. He also spoke about the company’s Qatarisation programme.
The event was attended by Chief Operations Officer Ettienne Rademeyer and other Oryx GTL executives.
Rademeyer spoke about the various achievements of Oryx GTL and the goals set by the company to become an ‘attractive employer’ and promote the gas-to liquids technology as ‘ideal’ for the people.
He also gave certificates and gifts to the employees.
Nasser al-Hajri, a Qatari who joined Oryx GTL in December 2005, said he considered the company as his second home and that all employees were like members of a family.
In five years, al-Hajri could become the head of the accounts department at Oryx GTL.
Those who spoke also thanked Oryx GTL CEO Abdulrahman M al-Suwaidi for his leadership.
