The fourth anniversary of Baraem TV was celebrated at a programme attended by hundreds of children and their parents. Baraem provides its viewers, mostly pre-schoolers, with valuable and qualitative entertainment.
“Acknowledged by both parents and children, Baraem has emerged as the channel that delivers responsible content and has inspired generations in the Arab world. From memorable shows, to fun and learning activities, Baraem has helped families play and learn together,” a spokesperson said.
Speaking at the progamme on January 16, acting executive general manager Haya bint Khalifa al-Nassr said: “The recognition and trust of our viewers is a significant milestone for our vision and strategy. This encouragement keeps us motivated to continue engaging our audience through our programming with an assurance to parents that we will always provide responsible content.”
Acting channels director Saad al-Hudaifi added: “The anniversary is just the start of our journey; we have many more surprises planned for our audiences including a new line-up of shows that will feature in-house and international productions.” Some of the new shows include Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and Jojo’s Circus.
Commemorating its fourth anniversary, Baraem hosted a theatrical event –  the Ba-Ba-Ba-Baraem at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The show brought together renowned presenters, familiar puppets and iconic characters on a set specially created for the event. Children had the opportunity to take photographs and interact with their favourite Baraem characters.
Several Baraem TV fans and families from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Tunisia too attended the event .
The live performance was combined with video clips. The cast was made of Baraem’s renowned presenters – Marwa and Iman along with iconic puppets like Nashit, Noun, Teela and Toola. The highlight of the evening was Fafa, who much to the children’s delight, made a guest appearance at the end of the performance.
The evening ended on a high note with a special Baraem song sung live by over 30 performers with children from the audience joining in. With close to 500 parents and children attending, the evening was memorable and delightful for all.
The show was broadcast live on Baraem TV.
