For ictQATAR and Malomatia, Sport Day cements bonding

ictQATAR and Malomatia staff and their families participated in various outdoor activities at a Dafna park yesterday.

The Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) and Malomatia, a leading provider of professional technology services and solutions, celebrated Qatar National Sport Day (NSD) with a variety of open sports activities. The family members of both the organisations assembled at Park 65 at Dafna Area to take part in all sports and entertainment activitiesActivities began in the morning, featuring walking and running in the park, followed by football matches between ictQATAR and Malomatia teams. There were many other entertainment activities for women and children, which collectively made the participants cheerful.Kholoud al-Ali, ictQATAR’s communications office director, said, “ictQATAR’s and Malomatia’s participation in the fitness day reflects the constitutional partnership with all state agencies in order to improve sports for better bodies and more active minds through building a human being who is capable of participating in the course of development and progress on the way to fulfilling Qatar National Vision 2030, which considers the human element its most important pillar to build a healthier, civilised society.” She added: “ictQATAR staff’s participation in the NSD enhances their sports culture and encourages them to practise physical activities regularly and make them an everyday tradition, which reflects on their performance at work.” Yousef al-Naama, CEO, Malomatia, said: “Malomatia’s participation in NSD aligns with the national initiative and reflects Malomatia’s deep belief in the importance of fitness and sports for healthier bodies and minds and stronger inter-employee relationships.”Participation in NSD activities serves the sports dimension of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 in which Qatar seeks to become the first, most favourite destination for hosting and organising big world sports events, al-Naama added.
