GE is highlighting its broad spectrum of advanced technologies that enhance operational efficiencies across the oil and gas sector at the ongoing Middle East Turbo-machinery Symposium.
GE is showcasing its cutting edge technologies at the exhibition, while technical experts, representing diverse businesses of the company, are presenting technical papers and case studies that discuss key operational aspects of the industry.
The GE stand hosts a wide range of technologies covering its turbo-machinery, global services, measurementand controls as well as intelligent platforms businesses that provide customers with solutions aimed at increasing resource recovery, maximising operational efficiency and reducing environmental footprint.

At the exhibition, GE Oil & Gas Turbomachinery is displaying scale models of its MS5002E heavy duty gas turbine, which is an upgraded version of GE’s MS5002 product line, and offers high efficiency, low emissions and a proven service life to customers.
GE Oil & Gas Global Services is also presenting its offerings in monitoring and diagnostics, customer training programmes, and innovative solutions such as the Oregen system, which recovers waste heat from gas turbine exhaust and converts it into electric energy; GE’s Filter House technology, which is a multistage air filtration system specifically designed for gas turbines operating in harsh environments; and GE’s Power Crystal kit, which safely enhances power output.
GE Oil & Gas Measurement & Controls business highlights its solutions for condition monitoring, both portable and continuous, of rotating machinery through its proven Bently Nevada product line.
Also on display will be its range of valves including Masoneilan control valves and consolidated pressure relief valves, and a range of roots blowers that has been meeting air delivery needs for more than 150 years.
GE Intelligent Platforms is highlighting a new partnership between Bently Nevada and Proficy SmartSignal for the oil & gas sector.  
With a presence spanning over 80 years, and  more than 1,000 turbines with installed capacity of over 70gigawatts (approximately half of the total installed power of the region), GE is a leader in supporting the Middle East region’s needs for sustainable energy, water resources, and infrastructure growth.
GE has been supporting Qatar’s development for nearly 40 years with advanced energy technology solutions and services as well as expanding investments and knowledge sharing initiatives.
