Qatar National Bank (QNB)’s Learning and Development Centre has organised a management training and development programme, in collaboration with Aon Hewitt Centre, with the aim of developing and strengthening the leadership capabilities of its gifted staff. The programme comprises an integrated series of training courses for learning and development. It also aims at introducing a range of methods that will help learn and implement new abilities and behavioural skills through three months of workshops.During the workshops, the staff are taught to recognise three main aspects (management, self-change and administration of others) to develop their skills and abilities. The workshops also provide the employees with the opportunity to increase their efficiency and make a change in line with future professional developments. Upon passing the three phases, the trainees receive a certificate approved by Aon Hewitt Centre - a global leader in human capital consulting and outsourcing solutions. Aon Hewitt designs, implements, communicates and administers a wide range of human capital, retirement, investment management, healthcare, compensation and talent management strategies. QNB is interested in and focused on understanding and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of its staff and supports functional values through long-term and short-term certification programmes as part of developing the banking roles carried out by the staff to provide the best services at the highest levels of expertise.QNB’s Centre for Training and Development has prepared several training programmes, seeking to develop employees and hone their abilities so that they can design and plan their career by improving the quality of work and guiding them to achieve their goals towards a unique banking leadership.
