Emir ends Ethiopia visit

QNA/Addis AbabaHH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani left here yesterday morning, wrapping up a two-day state visit to Ethiopia. HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Bole International Airport by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, a number of ministers and Qatar’s Charge d’affaires to Ethiopia Hamad Mohamed al-Rumaihi, and Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Doha Al-Mahdi Ahmed, besides a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to Addis Ababa. The Emir was accompanied during the visit by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and a high-level official delegation.  The Emir sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to Ethiopian President Girma Wolde-Giorgis and Premier Hailemariam Desalegn for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to them during the visit. The Emir and the accompanying delegation arrived in Addis Ababa on  Wednesday evening on a state visit to Ethiopia.1.
