Senior Commercial Bank officials with the bank employees who were honoured for their long service.
Commercial Bank recently honoured a number of its staff for their long-term service and loyalty to the bank and its customers.
The long-serving employees were recognised during the bank’s annual staff event at the Katara Cultural Hall.
The event was attended by Commercial Bank staff and guests, with the awards presented by bank managing director Hussein Alfardan and chief executive Andrew Stevens.
During the event, 19 employees who have worked with Commercial Bank for more than 20 years were recognised and presented with certificates and awards.
There was a special honour for Sadek Ahmed, who joined the bank in its early days, 30 years ago, not long after Commercial Bank was launched as the first private sector bank in Qatar.
Chief executive Stevens said: “Commercial Bank is fortunate to have so many wonderful employees who have served our customers loyally and professionally for more than two decades.
“All of the Commercial Bank family members work incredibly hard and have played such a central role in the growth of the bank over the past four decades. It is important to me, and to all of us at the bank, that we take the time to personally applaud their dedication for delivering the best services to our valued customers.”
