The golden rule to make a perfect sandwich is that all sandwiches should have the following parts — bread, dressing, filling, and crispy potato. The more you experiment with the ingredients around you the better would be your sandwich every time. Sandwich is also a very easy option to take care of left over foods and finish them off.

Ciabatta chicken tikka

(Italian bread sandwich with India chicken tikka)

Ingredients
(serves 2)
Ciabatta bread 2 no
Garlic mayonnaise to spread
Iceberg lettuce 2-3 leaves
Chicken tikka 4-6 pcs
Gherkins 5-6 no
Onion rings ½ no
Cheese slices 2 no
Potato wedges 2 portions
White pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
Sauce        
Pepper remoularde ¼ cup
Method
Cut Ciabatta bread horizontally and toast.
Spread garlic mayonnaise on both sides.
Tear lettuce leaves with hand and place on bread.
Arrange prepared chicken tikka, gherkins, onion rings and cheese slices.
Sprinkle pepper powder and salt to season.
Close with the other half and serve with crisp fried potato.
For pepper remoularde, roast bell pepper and peel off the skin and blend to a smooth consistency.
Add this puree to mayonnaise and add garlic juice and season with salt and pepper.
Note: Instead of using chicken tikka you can choose other meats/fillings as per your choice to make your signature sandwich.

Classic Club

(Traditional club sandwich recipe)

Ingredients
(Serves 2)
White bread slice 6no
Mayonnaise to spread
Yellow mustard to spread
Lettuce leaf 3-4 no
Turkey breast 60g
Beef bacon 4-6 strips
Egg 2 no
Cucumber 1 no
Tomato 1 no
Cheddar cheese 2 slices
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
French fries 80g

Method
Toast bread slices and cut all the sides.
Spread adequate mayonnaise on one side of each bread.
Grill turkey breast, beef bacon and fried egg, keep aside.
Arrange lettuce leaf and sliced cucumber and tomato, sprinkle salt and pepper.
Cover with another bread slice and place turkey meat, beef bacon and fried egg.
Squeeze yellow mustard on it and cover with cheese slice.
Place the third bread slice on top and divide the sandwich into half.
Serve with crisp fried potato on the side.
