Regency Travel and Tours received its first Signum Virtutis – the seal of excellence - at the 2013 Seven Star Global Luxury Awards held in Marbella, Spain, recently. |
The winners, including Regency Travel and Tours - which was awarded in the Seven Star Luxury Tour Operator section - were voted by members of the public and international trade.
The event hosted some of the industry’s most well-respected CEOs and managers from international tourism, hospitality and lifestyle.
The Signum Virtutis was received by Regency Travel and Tours general manager Nasiruddin Shafiq on behalf of the CEO, Tareq Abdullatif Taha, and the Regency team.
“Regency Travel and Tours has been synonymous with global travel and luxury for nearly 25 years. It is our pleasure to receive this honour from the panel, the industry and, most of all, the public who have voted us ‘Seven Star Luxury Tour Operator’. The Signum Virtutis is an international symbol of luxury and prestige,” said Taha.
“It was a wonderful experience to go through the process of nomination and then winning the Seven Star Luxury Tour Operator award,” said Shafiq.
