Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the working hours for its hospitals during Ramadan.
At Hamad General Hospital (Sunday to Thursday), the outpatient department (OPD) morning clinics will function from 8am to 1pm and the evening clinic from 8.30pm to 11pm.
The OPD pharmacy will remain open from 8am to 2pm and the diabetic pharmacy and paediatric pharmacy from 8am to 1pm. The evening clinic will work from 8.30pm to midnight, Sunday to Wednesday.
At Women’s Hospital, the OPD (Sunday to Thursday) morning clinics will work from 8am to 1pm and the evening clinics from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
The pharmacy will continue to operate on a 24-hour basis.
The OPD clinics at National Centre for Cancer Care and Research will work from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.
The OPD pharmacy will stay open from 8am to 2pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8am to 1pm on Saturday.
At Heart Hospital (Sunday to Thursday), the OPD clinics will function from 8am to 1pm and the OPD pharmacy from 8am to 1pm.
At The Cuban Hospital, the OPD and rehabilitation unit will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday, with booked appointments during Ramadan. The emergency department will continue to operate on a 24-hour basis.
The OPD will be closed over Eid, but the hospital will operate an urgent care clinic supported by on-call specialists. The clinic will be available for patients with chronic ailments (like diabetes, asthma etc) from 8am to 1pm and 24 hours for emergency cases. Charges will apply for non-urgent care.
At Al Wakra Hospital, the OPD clinics and pharmacy will remain open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday
The HMC Patient Contact Centre (HPCC) will operate from 6am to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 11am to 5pm, Friday-Saturday.
The HPCC services apply to Hamad General Hospital, Dental Clinic at Rumailah Hospital and Women’s Hospital.
Patients seeking to cancel their appointment, request for a new date or seek general information can contact the HPCC during the above-mentioned hours at 44395777.
The Referral Booking Management System (RBMS) will also adjust its hours, working from 7am to 11pm, Sunday to Thursday.
The RBMS Satellite Office will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.
