Ronautica Middle East (RME), a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Development Company (UDC), has announced the opening of Costa Malaz Marina at The Pearl-Qatar to cope with their increased demand for berths and to provide a greater variety of service to customers.

The newly opened marina is situated close to the Qanat Quartier district on the northern shore of The Pearl–Qatar, offering quick and easy access to the beautiful cruising
waters north of Doha.

There has been keen interest in the new location from local yacht owners, with a total of 117 berths for yachts from just under 10m up to 15m newly available. All the berths are fully serviced with water and shore power supplies.

This newly presented marina benefits from all the same high quality infrastructure as the existing Porto Arabia Marina with 24-hour security, a private fuel pontoon for berth holders, ample parking space, dock hands to assist in mooring and wide, solid and safe pontoons.

“We are happy to be able to expand on the quality service we offer yacht owners of Qatar with our second marina, Costa Malaz,” Steve Stiglbauer, general manager, RME, said.

Stiglbauer added: “As the appetite for the enjoyment of boating grows in Qatar, the marinas of The Pearl-Qatar offer the perfect place to moor yachts, with great marina infrastructure and services blending effortlessly with the varied retail and culinary delights offered on the Island”.

In addition to the Porto Arabia and now Costa Malaz marinas, Ronautica also looks after Doha’s only water taxi-shuttle service, operating within Porto Arabia, offers a luxury 40’ yacht available for charter throughout the year and will inaugurate further marinas on The Pearl-Qatar in the future.
