National carrier Qatar Airways has announced that from July 21 the airline will operate a new daily non-stop flight from Doha to Bali. |
Bali has long been a popular destination for travellers of Qatar Airways, who presently fly to Bali Denpasar via Singapore.
With smooth and frequent connections in Doha, the non-stop 10-hour route is sure to benefit passengers flying on the Qatar Airways global network.
Another development will take place in October this year when the route will be operated with Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The Bali route will initially be operated with an Airbus A330, according to an airline communique.
One of the world’s newest aircraft, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will enable passengers to enjoy Qatar Airways’ five-star service, while experiencing the very latest in international air travel design and comfort.
Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar al-Baker said: “The start of non-stop services from Doha to Bali offers travellers from around the world access to the popular leisure destination in a reduced time, from across our expanding global network.
“We are delighted that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate on this route from later this year, offering the very latest in design and comfort to passengers who wish to travel on this non-stop route from the Middle East.”
Flying direct to and from Bali, the Dreamliner will have a two-cabin configuration, comprising 22 seats in Business Class and 232 Economy Class seats with a high standard of comfort on board, including individual 10.5” television screens on all economy class seats and a full complimentary food and beverage service.
The route is sure to be popular for those travelling from Qatar Airways’s extensive route network in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with connecting journey times to Bali reduced with one quick international transfer at Doha’s soon-to-be-opened Hamad International Airport.
