Ahlibank has launched a new logo and corporate identity designed to reflect the company’s “deep local roots” and commitment to its clients, the bank’s chief executive officer announced.

CEO Salah Murad said the new brand marked a series of “exciting changes” for a “new and focused” Qatari bank.

“Our new look reflects the fact that we are evolving our business and our brand to better engage our consumers and stakeholders. These changes will enable us to focus on delivering a more personal banking experience across our business,” Murad said.

The new logo is a modern interpretation of an icon from Qatar’s past – the oyster shell, which marks the first of a series of planned developments for Ahlibank after the company invested in the transformation of its branches, technology, and employee engagement. “Ahlibank is Qatari-owned, something we are incredibly proud of. In the next 12 months, we will be rolling out a series of new products that are aimed to provide even more effective banking solutions across all of our divisions to showcase the innovation, efficiency and skills that the Qatar banking sector has to offer,” he said.
