Emir meets French defence minister

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani receiving French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian at the Emir Diwan yesterday. The Emir and the French minister reviewed co-operation between the two countries and ways to develop it further. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments. Earlier yesterday, Qatar’s Armed Forces and French Thales Group  signed a contract for the execution of a ground satellites project to provide infrastructure and communication equipment to enhance the armed forces’ command and control system.
