Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha has recorded a 17% increase in sales in 2014, proving the “ultra-luxury marque” continues to be a popular choice among Qatari clients.
“With the launch of the Ghost Series II, continued success of the Wraith and arrival of two striking Bespoke Phantom collections,
2014 was an outstanding year for us,” said Mohamed Kandeel, chief operating officer, Alfardan Group – Automotive Operations.
He said Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha continued to experience a growth in sales over the past few years, contributing to the
Middle-East region’s phenomenal success and visibility on the marque’s global network.
It was announced recently that the Middle-East is now Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ second largest market globally, comprising around
one-fifth of the company’s global volumes throughout 2014.
“Constantly striving for excellence in every aspect of the Rolls-Royce brand, we are confident that our selection of ultra-luxury
vehicles and unparalleled level of service will ensure that 2015 will match, if not exceed the success of 2014,” said Kandeel.
The top growth model in 2014 was the Wraith, the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history, which enjoyed a hugely
successful first full year of sales.
It became a standout as the increasingly popular choice amongst a younger category of audiences throughout the year.
“The Wraith was designed with the curious, the confident and the bold in mind, and has attracted a diverse clientele including
younger audiences as well as those sports-car enthusiasts looking for a combination of power, style and ultra-luxury,” said
Kandeel.
Building on the success of the famed Ghost model, the most recent addition to marque’s ultra-luxury family of vehicles, the Ghost
Series II, has also proved a popular choice among Qatari clientele since its launch in November.
Furthermore, the Rolls-Royce Phantom which combines state-of-the-art technology and engineering with timeless contemporary
design, maintained its position as the company’s pinnacle product with steady sales throughout the year.
In addition to the introduction of the Ghost Series II, 2014 saw Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha welcome a selection of beautiful
Bespoke models into its showroom, including one of the 35 limited edition Waterspeed Phantom Drophead Coupés.
It was followed by the Bespoke Oud Phantom, a stunning collection inspired by the seductive scent of Arabian oud, crafted
specifically for the Qatari market.
Kandeel said these unique vehicles showcase the level of unparalleled, painstaking craftsmanship that is required to bring
Bespoke concepts to life and contributed to Rolls-Royce sustaining its leadership of the industry in the area of personalisation.
Rolls-Royce sales continue to grow.
