Jackie Chan takes part in relief work

Chinese film actor Jackie Chan, centre, carries a rose he received from a well-wisher as he walks with officials in Kathmandu yesterday, while taking part in a Chinese Red Cross earthquake relief programme in the Nepalese capital. Chan is in the city on a one-day visit after the devastating twin earthquakes which struck in April and May left in excess of 8,700 dead in the Himalayan nation.
