Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 64.19 points (-0.55) when the bourse closed trading at 11,670.50 points on Tuesday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 190,29mn with a volume of 4,158,700 shares from 3,321 deals compared to QR 169,77mn with a volume of 3,509,637 shares from 2,650 deals on Monday.
The market capitalisation decreased to QR 616,03bn from QR 619,63bn registered on Monday.
Indices of six sectors ended in red and one in green.
Banks and Financial Services index dropped -0.66% to 3,093.74 points. Insurance index decreased -1.16% to 4,772.53 points and Telecom Index declined -2.85% to 1,030.65 points. But real estate index gained +0.35% to 2,734.07 points.
QSE Total Return Index decreased to -0.55% to 18,140.12 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index lost -0.27% to 4,544.41 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -0.52% to 3,117.66 points.
Of the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 41. Of them, 9 gained, 25 went down, and seven were unchanged.
