MEC announces recall of 2012-14 Dodge Ram pick-up models

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced a recall of 2012-14 Dodge Ram pick-up models due to a possible steering wheel wire harness defect.The recall is being carried out in collaboration with United Cars Almana, the dealer of Dodge vehicles in Qatar.The campaign falls within the framework of the MEC’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repair them.The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with thedealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.It has urged consumers to report violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department through the hotline (16001), e-mail (info@mec.gov.qa), Twitter (@MEC_Qatar), Instagram (MEC_Qatar) and the MEC mobile app for Android and iOS (MEC_Qatar).Social Affairs Minister attends meeting in EgyptThe Arab Ministers of Social Affairs yesterday held their 35th session and 5th substantive session as well as a seminar on the rights of persons with disabilities as part of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Sharm El Sheikh city.
