The Regency Shopping Complex in Al Wusayl Street of Umm Salal Ali area was inaugurated by Shaheen bin Ali bin Shaheen al-Rabea al-Kuwari and Sryae bin Rashid bin Srya al-Kaabi.
Several prominent personalities including Shaheen bin Matar al-Kuwari, Easa bin Matar al-Kuwari, Yusuf bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, Abdurahiman bin Mohamed al-Kaabi, Shaheen bin Ganem al-Muhannadi, Ibrahim bin Rashid al-Shareem, Khalid bin Ganem al-Kuwari, Ali bin Abdulla al-Kaabi, Abdulla Mohamed Ali al-Hammadi and socio-cultural leaders of expatriates communities were present.
Ali Ahmed Ali Rabea al-Kuwari, chairman of the complex, joined the directors of Regency Shopping Complex Ameerudheen, Shukkur Kinalur, Abdul Azeez and Abdul Latheef in welcoming the dignitaries and guests.
“Shopping at Regency Shopping Complex will be a unique and enjoyable experience as our products are displayed to ensure a customer-friendly experience,” said Ameerudheen, director and general manager of the complex.
A wide range of food products, multiple choices for garment collection, ample car parking, and a variety of home furnishing are some of the salient features of the shopping complex. There is a shopping area of more than 1,500sqm spread across two floors. The ground floor comprises the supermarket and fresh food section.
“Our fast billing system will reduce the billing time by helping customers check out with less waiting. In the vegetable and fruits section also customers do not spend much time in queue for pricing and weighing their purchases,” the official said while claiming that the fish and meat section offers ‘the widest choice and best prices.’
A wide array of products are available on the first floor, ranging from readymade garments for all age groups, gifts, toys and games, stationeries, footwear, perfumes, bath and linen to home appliances to electronics and much more.
The first floor also houses the home furnishing section, outdoor and camping equipment, furniture, mobile shops, Arabic ethnic perfumes and a jewel store, with a food court and gents saloon to open shortly. An Ooredoo counter and ATM will also be opened on the ground floor soon.
“Considering the convenience of people living in and around Umm Salal Ali, the complex will open from 6am to midnight daily,” the director added.
