HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will receive Sheikhs, ministers, Advisory Council Speaker as well as undersecretaries, Advisory Council members and citizens to offer their greetings on the holy month of Ramadan at Al Wajba Palace on the first and second evenings of Ramadan after taraweeh prayers, the Emiri Diwan said, extending wishes of blessings and wellbeing to the Qatari people and the Arab and Islamic nations.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged greetings with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani exchanged greetings with vice-presidents of Arab and Islamic countries, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
Separately, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also exchanged greetings with  Prime Ministers of Arab and Islamic countries, on the occasion.

Mowasalat buses to extend service hours
A number of Mowasalat buses will be extending their service hours during the holy month of Ramadan.
Some of these routes will include 11, 12, 20, 21, 31, 32, 33, 33A, 40, 42, 43, 49, 94, 55, 56, 57 and 76, according to Mowasalat.
The company will also carry out promotions of Karwa smartcard and usage of public transport at the workers’ accommodation in Shahniya and Industrial Area during weekends.  
Passengers can buy and top up Karwa smartcards from authorised merchants listed on www.mowasalat.com, Doha bus station, and from more than 320 vending machines around Qatar.
Passengers can also top up through self-serving machines of Ooredoo with Karwa smartcard logo and Paytm Point of Sales outlets. They will also get a bonus credit of QR10 for every QR100 single top up transaction.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company will distribute Iftar boxes to bus passengers at Iftar time all days during Ramadan at the Central and Karwa city bus stations. Mowasalat will also be giving away free Karwa smartcards in collaboration with a charity organisation through arranged Iftar meals.
