Qatar Airways and Qatar Duty Free (QDF) are heralding the height of summer with a global discount for all travellers to enjoy on their next trip from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Every passenger who checks in online for a Qatar Airways flight this summer will receive a 10% discount for redemption at participating QDF stores in HIA. A voucher will be available for passengers to download upon completion of online check-in via qatarairways.com and can be redeemed when they arrive at the airport.
The convenience of online check-in and downloading the boarding pass at home “provides a seamless airport experience” and passengers will be rewarded with a discount to shop at one of the world’s top airport retail spaces, according to a statement.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar al-Baker said, “Our focus is always on providing the very best travel experience and value for our passengers, from booking their journey to reaching their final destination. This summer, passengers can enjoy seamless travel when they are ‘Going Places’ with Qatar Airways, starting with online check-in and continuing with our esteemed shopping at Qatar Duty Free.”
Travellers can enjoy preparing for their summer holiday in style with QDF’s wide selection of brands, from high street stores to international designers and exclusive luxury boutiques, the statement notes. QDF provides a shopping environment where passengers can get the best looks, trends, inspiration and shopping picks to take on their travels to any destination in Qatar Airways’ global network.
As part of the summer promotion, passengers can choose from a wide variety of duty-free products at “amazing prices” from Tiffany, Burberry, TAG Heuer, Chopard, Bulgari, Harrods, Michael Kors, Coach, perfumes, cosmetics and skincare, Godiva chocolates, Swarovski jewellery and gifts from Marmalade Market.
Passengers can discover an array of products inside HIA’s departure terminal, from cosmetics to designer labels, all “perfect purchases” for those venturing on summer vacations as well as for business travellers who are keen to benefit from the offer, the statement adds.
