HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday visited the new headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior in Wadi Al Sail. He was briefed about the features of the building, its design inspired from Qatari architectural heritage as well as its facilities and modern equipment. The visit also included a tour of Police Museum in the building, which contains an ancient collection of weapons, equipment, tools, documents, ancient uniforms of police officers documenting the stages of evolution of the Qatari Police in addition to a model of the oldest police station in Qatar. HH the Deputy Emir also toured the facilities of the building where he was briefed about modern security equipment and techniques. He was accompanied by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.
