PM honours sports figures for their contribution to Olympic movement

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani honoured four sports figures, who have made remarkable efforts for enhancing the international Olympic movement.The Prime Minister gave each of them the Olympic Order of Merit.The honorees are Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al-Khalifah, representative of the King of Bahrain to Charity and Youth Affairs, head of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; Mohamed Raouraoua, president of the Algerian Football Federation; Gagik Tsarukyan, president of the Armenian Olympic Committee; and Leri K from Georgia, an Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling and a member of Parliament who has contributed to supporting the Olympic movement in his country through his career.
