The Nepali community in Qatar will see Nepali superstar Rajesh Hamal, popular film actor Aaryan Sigdel and Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav sharing the same stage on Friday, December 2. 
The list of performers at the “Nepali-Bhojpuri Mega Star Night” also includes singer Smriti Pokhrel and actresses Kajol Raghuwani, Madhu Sharma, Seema Singh, Nisha Dubey, Poonam Dubey, Ritu Singh, Shivika Diwan and Priyanka Maharaj. The musical programme is being organised by Doha Waves in association with Jeevika in Asian Town. The programme will be directed by Muhammed Thoyyib. 
Rajesh Hamal, 50, is the most celebrated Nepali movie actor, and will be performing for the sixth time. He first performed in Qatar in 2000. His first silver screen project was Yug Dekhi Yug Samma (From Age to Age) in 1988 and was awarded the National Film Award for his role in the movie. He has worked in over 230 movies since then, including one Punjabi movie. He has won over 118 national awards and has received nominations an additional 42 times. 
Aaryan Sigdel is currently one of the most popular actors in Nepali film industry. He started acting and dancing and acted in various music videos and television programmes before moving to the big screen. Sigdel first film was Kismat (Luck) in 2007. Subsequently, he played a popular role in Mero Euta Sathi Chha (I have a Friend) in 2009. He was awarded best actor awards for his roles in pictures like Mausam (Weather), Mero Euta Sathi Chha, Kohi Mero (Someone Mine) and Kasle Choryo Mero Maan (Who Stole My Heart?). 
Khesari Lal Yadav is Bhojpuri singer and actor. He started with a Bhojpuri album titled Maal Bhetai Mela Mein. After starring in Sajan Ki Sasural in 2012, Yadav became a rising film star. His popular musical albums include Piyawa Gaya Re, Hamar Saudi Re Bhauji, and Saiya Arab Gaiya Na. 
Bhojpuri actress Kajal Raghwani started with the film Sabse Bada Mujrim (The Greatest Criminal) and is one of the biggest stars in Bhojpuri film industry. Likewise, Seema Singh is an actress, dancer, model and a TV presenter. She has performed her dance moves in many Bhojpuri films and is the recipient of many Bhojpuri film awards. Smriti Pokhrel is popular singer, song writer, musician and model from Nepal.
The programme will kick off at 4pm on Friday.
