Fast growing beverage services provider,  FiLLi Cafe has started its first flagship outlet  in Doha, near Quality Hypermarket on Salwa Road.
Locally, FiLLi is operating through a franchisee, awarded to the TGIR Group, established by a group of young food connoisseurs who said they are committed to introduce hitherto unseen concepts and experiences in food habits to the country’s residents.
Director of TGIR Group Fazil Hameed said:  “We have found there are so many  FiLLi Tea lovers here who are regulars at FiLLi outlets while they are visiting Dubai. “We are keen on bringing here FiLLi Cafe in a big way and that’s why we have started our anchor store here where our customers can comfortably savour the signature FiLLi Zafrani Tea.”
The local franchisees are opening their second outlet at Woqod Petrol Station, Messaied, by mid-January 2017. “Five more stores are planned in different locations over the next three years,” he said.
Also speaking, the founder and CEO of FiLLi Tea Rafih Filli, said: “In the beverage industry , tea has not been given as much importance as coffee and cafes are only meant for coffee. This is one of the biggest challenges in the journey of FiLLi.”
FiLLi Cafe was founded way back in 1991. The establishment that had humble beginnings at Mamzar Beach in Dubai, has now grown to 28 outlets  across the UAE. The cafe is poised to open four more outlets, including a grand store at the Dubai Mall.
By the first quarter of 2017, FiLLi is going to open six stores across Mumbai in India, and Bahrain. It is also in the process of opening a store in London, by the middle of next year, culminating in the dream of opening 100 stores by 2020.
