HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani attended yesterday evening part of the first round of Qatar ExxonMobil Open Men’s Tennis at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex. The Emir, seen here with Qatar Tennis Federation president Nasser al-Kholeifi and Qatar ExxonMobil president and GM Alistair Routledge, watched the match that took place between Qatar’s Mubarak Shannan and Russian Karen Khachanov, which ended in victory for the Russian player 2-0. The matches were also attended by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, as well as a number of their excellencies sheikhs and guests of the tournament.
