The first phase of the project, which is expected “to open soon,” consists of 2,058 residential units and outlets, and will include 180 commercial establishments like restaurants, cafes, and “vital facilities of different sizes.”
The project’s first phase also includes all the services provided in most Ezdan villages and compounds such as around the clock security services, swimming pools, dedicated parking lots, as well as maintenance and installation services.
For the residential category of the project, units are comprised of one, two, and three bedroom apartments, fully-furnished with modern appliances “that take the utmost advantage of space to provide comfort for all tenants.”
Ezdan Holding Group CEO Ali Mohamed al-Obaidli said the company’s participation in ‘Cityscape Qatar 2017’ aims to shed light on Ezdan’s contributions in response to the growing demands in Qatar’s real estate sector.
He said the ‘Ezdan Oasis’ project is considered to be “the largest of the company’s projects in the world of real estate, which enhances the position of Ezdan as a leading company in the market.”
Spanning a total area of 1mn sqm, the ‘Ezdan Oasis’ project consists of four phases, offering up to 9,346 residential units.
Al-Obaidli said: “During the development of this project, we took into consideration to implement the idea of services integration and to provide a modern quality product in order to become an all-inclusive mini city that enjoys all the facilities for all segments of society. We expect that this project will see a great success and a large turnout under the rapid pace of development witnessed by the area of Al Wakrah.
“We are now in the process of launching the first phase, which consists of 1,820 housing units of varied sizes. This initial phase will also comprise the opening of two schools to serve dwellers, in addition to four clubs”.
He pointed out that “the most important aspect” of the project is its strategic location in Al Wukair. The new units are only 13km away from the airport, bordered by Al Wakrah General Hospital, Barwa City, and in the vicinity of Ezdan’s two malls, Ezdan Mall Al-Wakrah and Ezdan Mall Al-Wukair.
On the remaining stages of the ‘Ezdan Oasis’ project, al-Obaidli said: “We were able to complete the first phase in a short period of time compared to its large size. This was due to multiplying our efforts and working in cooperation with executive parties of high caliber and large expertise in the field of construction and real estate development since our customer base is in constant growth, which consequently increased demand on our units.”
