The Qur’anic Botanic Garden (QBG) and Public Parks Department, part of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, have opened an innovative garden tools exhibition at Education City’s Recreation Centre. The exhibition, taking place until April 13, provides visitors with an opportunity to learn more about establishing a garden, as well as information on maintenance and upkeep. Leading Qatari landscaping and agricultural organisations are also participating, showcasing a range of products and garden wares. Additionally, the exhibition aims to teach the wider community about the garden tools required to establish orchards – both small – and large-scale – and the most up-to-date technologies currently being utilised around the world. QBG is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF). It aims to encourage social engagement and strengthen agricultural awareness in Qatar, supporting QF’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability within the wider community, according to a press statement.
