Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) and the French National Institute of Sport expertise and performance (INSEP), a training institute and centre for excellence in sports that trains elite athletes, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, May 4th, further cementing AZF’s commitment to elevate the expertise of its members as part of its mission to become a global leader in elite athletic management by 2020.
The MoU was signed by Abdullah Nasser al-Naemi, Director General of Aspire Logistics (on behalf of Mohammad Khalifa al-Suwaidi, CEO of AZF) and by Ghani Ylaouz, CEO of INSEP.
The signing was also attended by French ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier, Nasser Abdullah al-Hajri, Director of PR and Communication at Aspire Logistics. Senior officials from INSEP, including, Director Particia Delesque, International Relations Deputy Director Victor Dechelette and Second Counsellor Samuel Ducroquet, also attended the ceremony.
Speaking about this new partnership, Abdullah Nasser al-Naemi, Director General of Aspire Logistics, said: “We are very pleased to be collaborating with a centre of excellence in sports like INSEP, as partnership is a key approach in our way to excellence. I am eager to see the fruits of this partnership in the future and believe it will bring significant benefits to both sides.” As part of this partnership, Aspire Zone Foundation and INSEP will facilitate opportunities for all those involved in elite-level athlete and sports management to improve their knowledge and skill-sets through internships, conferences, as well as participation in training camps and collaborative research initiatives.
