Speed thrills

A man tries out the latest addition to London’s growing list of thrill-based vertical attractions. The new zip-wire on London’s South Bank offers thrillseekers the chance to glimpse some of the city’s best sights – while whizzing through the sky at 30mph. Open until October 1, it takes riders on a dizzying 738-foot journey, 100 feet above Archbishop’s Park. Creators Zip World claims it is the “biggest and fastest city-centre zip-line in the world”
