Over 16,000 female students attend Qur’an centre events

More than 16,000 female students have benefited from the programmes and events organised by the Qur’an Education Centres belonging to the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs during the second quarter of 2017.The Ministry said that these programmes and activities included workshops to teach the Holy Qur’an (memorisation and recitation), in addition to cultural and sports activities organised by centres, most notably Mozah Bint Mohammed Centre, in addition to 20 centres include 8,777 students.Among the most important activities that attracted women and girls was the three-week programme “Sahaab Al-Khair Al-Da’wi” which included lectures, Share’ah sessions, and awareness activities for women and children. In addition, the centres organised lectures and religious programmes.
