Doha Festival City, the largest entertainment, retail and hospitality destination in Qatar, organised a “Mystery Tour” to promote the new outlets.Both the North and South Food Courts are now open, in addition to a range of fast food and casual dining outlets situated in convenient locations throughout the mall.Upon completion, there will be more than 100 places to dine and relax including restaurants, cafés and casual dining outlets – many have been brought to Qatar for the first time.800 Degress Neapolitan Pizzeria, an Italian concept originating from Los Angeles, US, has launched its very first outlet in Qatar at Doha Festival City.There is a selection of bases, including the 95% gluten-free base, and fresh Italian desserts and coffees.A new menu of assorted appetisers and mains has also been introduced in the new Doha branch, devised by master pizzaiolo Rosario Accaria, with a fresh take on meaty and vegetarian options.These include a lasagna option for vegetarian and non-vegetarian eaters, a spaghetti Bolognese, a shrimp risotto (Risotto Ai Gamberetti), a mushroom risotto (Risotto Ai Funghi Porcini), and a chocolate fondant called the Tortino al Cioccolato Fondente.Spanning an area of 300sq m, in the Level 1, next to North Food Court in Doha Festival City, this new development marks the beginning of 800 Degrees Pizzeria’s expansion across the GCC, with four more branches on the way in Qatar.Casual restaurant chain Five Guys has launched its newest branch at Doha Festival City.The 247sq m burger joint is located opposite VOX Cinemas on the first floor.It is one of America’s fastest-growing restaurant chain and boasts 1,500 locations across North America, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.Five Guys’ hand-formed grilled patties are sandwiched between fresh-baked buns with an array of premium toppings, while its fries are cooked in pure peanut oil.Situated on the ground floor at Doha Festival City, Aimee’s Café is an independent outlet and the first of its kind.Aimee’s Café serves a selection of light bites such as Fried Shrimp Tacos, Braised Short Rib, and Macaroni Cheese.Doha Festival City is home to the largest Monoprix Hypermarket outlet worldwide.The French retail chain’s store boasts more than 35,000 high-quality goods within its 7,000sq m location.Monoprix has restaurants, a dedicated candy section, clothing and electronics, kitchen gadgets, and organic food items, aiming to modify the consumer’s retail experience.Bringing its own French heritage to Qatar, the store also includes an authentic French bakery, MCrust, and an impressive “La Cave à Fromage”, which is stocked with a wide selection of the finest international cheeses.Popular international brands also appear at the store, including Kusmi Tea, Kitchen Aid, and Smeg.Neuhaus, the inventor of the praline, has also opened at Doha Festival City.The Maître Chocolatier creates exquisite chocolates using outstanding ingredients.
