QIB announces 34 winners in summer cards campaign

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced 34 winners in the second batch ofthe ‘Win Every Day with QIB Visa Card’ and the ‘Win Every Week with QIBMasterCard’ summer promotions.The draw was conducted in the presence of an official representativefrom the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and QIB representatives.Thirty QIB Visa credit and debit cardholders who made domestic orinternational purchases between August 8 and September 6, 2017 received acash prize of QR5,000 each.The campaign will run until October 24 to reward a total of 108 daily winners and one grand prize winner.All QIB customers who use their Visa credit or debit cards for theirpurchases, domestic or international, for a minimum transaction of QR500get the chance to win QR5,000 daily.In addition, Visa cardholders who spend QR10,000 and above during thecampaign period will get a chance to win a brand-new Lexus LX570.ATM cash withdrawals are excluded.The next draw will take place in November for card purchases and payments until October 24, 2017.QIB also announced four winners who used their QIB Platinum and WorldMasterCard debit cards in Qatar or abroad between August 8 and September6, 2017.The winners received cash prizes of QR10,000 each.This campaign also runs until October 24 to reward a total of 15 weekly winners and one grand prize winner.QIB Tamayuz and Private Banking customers who spend a minimum of QR500using their Platinum and World MasterCard debit cards during thepromotion period are automatically eligible to enter the draw to winQR10,000.At the end of the campaign one QIB MasterCard customer will win a grand prize worth of QR100,000.ATM cash transactions are excluded.The next draw will take place in November for card purchases and payments until October 24, 2017.QIB offers a wide range of debit and credit cards, all with a variety ofvaluable features tailored to meet the needs of different customers.With cashless convenience and the ability to withdraw cash or instantlypay for purchases, all of QIB’s cards are accepted locally andinternationally and can be used at millions of merchant outlets and morethan 3.5mn ATMs globally.Recently, QIB launched an award-winning and highly-successful ‘Murabaha’ based credit card.The credit card offers customers the flexibility to pay 5% or 100% basedon their preference, with monthly settlements automatically deductedfrom their accounts and the ability to perform early payments at thecustomer’s discretion at all times.In addition, QIB launched its Ladies Credit Card after the bankintroduced its Ladies Banking proposition designed to cater to thefinancial needs of ladies in appreciation for their role in the Qatarisociety.More information about QIB cards can be found at www.qib.com.qa.
