HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani has sent a written message to the Minister of Environment and Energy of Greece George Stathakis, pertaining to the relations between Qatar and Greece. Qatar’s ambassador to Greece Abdulaziz Ali al-Naama delivered the message during a meeting with the Greek minister of environment and energy.

HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali met the UK ambassador to Qatar, Ajay Sharma.
The meeting discussed prospects of co-operation between the two countries in the cultural and sports fields and means of supporting and developing them.
HE the Minister of Culture and Sports also met the Canadian ambassador to Qatar Adrian Norfolk.
They discussed the prospects of co-operation between Qatar and Canada in the cultural and sports fields.
Environment
minister in Tunisia
Tunisia’s Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries Samir al-Taieb yesterday met Qatar’s Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, currently visiting Tunisia.
They discussed various aspects of co-operation between Qatar and Tunisia and ways of developing them, especially in the fields of technical co-operation, food security, sustainable development, agriculture, livestock and fisheries.
Qatar is taking part in the 13th session of International Show of Agriculture, Agricultural Machinery and Fishing (SIAMAP), which will kick off in Tunis today, with a delegation chaired by the Minister of Municipality and Environment.
Al-Marri meets US treasury secretary
Qatar’s Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri met the US Secretary of the Treasury Steven Terner Mnuchin in Doha yesterday. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
